General remarks

1. The rates in US dollars of the government fees have been established at the ratio of 1 US$ to 1,000 Korean Won and may vary according to the fluctuations of the foreign currency rate.
2. The government fees reflects the official fees of January 1, 2006 and could change without prior notice.
3. Upon request, we will submit you estimates of all charges in foreign countries.


REQUIREMENTS

1. For filing a patent application, it should contain abstract, specification, claims and drawings (if necessary) in Korean language. Any foreign language should be translated into Korean at the time of filing. Formal drawings are not required, but the photocopies of the drawings are sufficient.
2. For filing a patent, design, or trademark application, a power of attorney duly signed by the applicant is required. A general power of attorney can be used for further future applications by the same applicant. The general power of attorney needs neither notarization nor legalization. 3. Assignment of invention, signed by the inventor(s), or Declaration of inventor(s) or Oath is not required.
4. Names, nationalities and addresses of applicant(s), and inventor(s), and priority data are needed.
